My Own Saint Victoire
It is said Paul Cezanne painted Mount Saint Victoire in the Provencal region of France sixty times, watercolors included. He probably made drawings and sketches of this subject as well. Likewise I have returned over and over to this locally famous mountain in Arizona (which has similarities with Saint Victoire), made dozens of photographs under various weather conditions, in distinct styles from many different angles of view, as represented by these samples.
