Head-Scratching Over Time
Time and History are both conundrums partaking of myth,
The head-scratches of professors.
They tell us:
Time is Tails; Heads is Space,
Pick one — flip a coin.
They say:
Memory is Imagination — nothing but.
We know History is Memory,
Thus: History is Imagination.
Inscribing over our Space-Time-Traveling native son
An arc of dreams,
And gazes of angry contempt.
